About

I am Sophia Thielmann, an Architecture and Psychology student at the University of Notre Dame. I am from Colombia, and I am currently on my third year in Rome. My passion for architecture began when I realized it was the only field that combined all of my interests: art, mathematics, history, and all in relationship to humans. It is this tight relationship between designing and human lives that currently interests me the most. I have come to realize the impact architecture has on humanity, and am eager to learn more. Because of this, I decided to double major with psychology. I intend to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between these two fields, to learn how to design successfully while preserving tradition.
